Earlier this year, I started taking analog photos, and a few months ago,I also bought a vintage Super 8 film camera.
I’ve seen such beautiful analog film clips — I’m totally obsessed!I really wanted to get started with it myself and see what it brings.
You have to be very deliberate about which moments you want to capture.You load a cassette, and each cassette only holds 3 minutes of film.
You don’t capture emotion in 4K.
This is really something different.You can somewhat imitate old film in post-production, but the real thing is unbeatable… The atmosphere, the colors, the aesthetics… The artistic possibilities…
