Because it’s tangible... it’s pure, not polished. It comes from the heart...
We slow down and think more about what we’re doing.
We experience, instead of rushing past it all again...

With analog photography, it’s not just about clicking away, hoping one of the shots turns out nice.
It’s about really thinking about what you want to capture and then waiting for the right moment.
After all, you only have a limited number of shots on your roll — and you don’t want to waste them.

And here’s something beautiful:
You’ve taken your photos, sometimes over a longer period because you were careful with your roll.
Then you get your photos developed and have to wait.
Wait for the moment you hear they’re ready!
Just like in the old days!
Then you get excited to see what you got.
Sometimes you don’t even remember all the shots you took — and then you’re so happy with certain images!

And then the colors! The analog colors, unmatched by digital.
The grain, the occasional light leak...
The purity of those images. Not polished or retouched.
But the emotion of the moment, captured so beautifully in this kind of photography.
It’s truly different, and sometimes hard to put into words.
