At the Balloonfiësta in Barneveld

We're on vacation, and that of course means fun day trips!

Yesterday we visited the Dolfinarium, and I had seen that there was also a hot air balloon festival happening in Barneveld these days.

I still remember that when I was a child, my family once went to an event like that.

It’s something I’ve always remembered and still have fond memories of.

I found it truly impressive.

So, I thought it would be amazing to do something like that with our boys.To experience moments together. To create memories!

That’s truly priceless!

We had the chance now, and the weather was perfect too.

We arrived early at the meadow and found a spot in the crowd.First, some smaller balloons were inflated and carried around. The boys wondered why they didn’t float up.

I explained that the “real” balloons were much bigger, and when the first big one was inflated, their jaws dropped.So huge, with all kinds of colors and shapes! About 35 balloons went up.

They really enjoyed it and have been talking about it all day today.

Another day to remember forever!
